Kate Wood, eventor - hails from beautiful Whangarei, Suzanne's hometown and HorseTackNZ territory! Kate took out the Eventing Northland Rider of the Year 2011 again! TuffRock sponsored the annual awards dinner (fancy dress, of course), which was this year combined with Dressage Northland.

Andrea Smith and her family of endurance riders are undeniably at the forefront of this discipline, with Andrea winning the 2011 3* National Champs, and her daughter Georgia being selected for the 2011 FEI World Endurance Champs for Junior s & Young Riders in Abu Dabi.
