RECOMMENDATIONS & HORSE/RIDER LIMITATIONS FOR TREELESS SADDLES            

     RECOMMENDATIONS:

•  That adequate saddle padding be used according to discipline and rider/horse 

   requirements. Read this information on correct padding Supportive padding.

•  Your pad should have a contoured topline as well as padding on either side of

   the spine as in Skito Equalizer Pads. No padding should be on the spine.

•  Elastic in the girth at each end and in the middle for stability and breathing 

   room. The SensationTM Self-Center girth is highly recommended to ultimately

   have an even pull on the rigging. This girth has been designed, rather, finely

   engineered to do just that! 

•  Matrix Composite Stirrup Irons & Matrix Toe Cages, Icelandic Safety Irons, EZ

   Ride Stirrups with cages or similar are highly recommended to stop your foot

   getting caught in the event of a fall from your horse. Icelandic irons are pre-

   turned to assist with foot position.
•  Hunting style breastplates are recommended for safety.
•  SensationTM Ride sheepskin shearling seat covers for ultimate comfort. POA.
 

    LIMITATIONS:

•  Not recommended for riders over 90kgs as the saddles haven't been tested

    beyond that limitation.
•  Not recommended for prominent-withered horses, or horses with an "A" frame-

    shaped back. Please refer to this Horse Body-Type info sheet to see if your 

    horse is suitable to be ridden in a treeless saddle.

•  Not suitable for really green riders who rely on a saddle to remain on a horse.
